Hi I just got my maxisys mini, I tried using it with my shop wifi, and it tried to connect but gives me an authentication failure, it works fine with my home wifi, and I entered and re enter the shop pass phrase, I have tried modifying, forgetting and re adding the network, still gives me the same error. is the tool locked to only connect to certain security protocols for (WEP key ,WPA, ect) wifi routers?

At present, our Maxisys Series can only accept 2.4Ghz WiFi. And also please make sure your Shop Wi-Fi password not changed.

I'll throw in a personal wifi experience as it may apply in your case.  I was having same issue when I first received my Maisys.  Maxisys was powered up fine and wifi settings looked good....router settings looked good and the green LEDS on front were on showing powered up.  After messing with for half a day decided router was toast so went and bought a identical unit to replace it. Took new unit out hooked it up, reused existing wall wart since it was identical to new one in the box.  Powered up, lights on router come on, try maxisys....nothing....whut tha!!?!?!?  Puzzled around for awhile and decided what the hell lets try the new wall wart.....bingo , both the new AND the old router would work with the new wall wart.  Got to checking, the power to the router was suupposed to be 12 -14 volts but the old wart was only putting out about 3-4 volts......enough to make the LEDS on the front look like it was working but not enough to make the router work.
